Don’t Be Afraid to Tell The World Who’s Boss

We have all heard that saying in our lives; “Don’t be afraid to tell the world who’s boss,” and that statement is true. As Christians, we follow Christ and He is the one with all the authority! God is the one who spoke everything into existence, gave us grace, so don’t be afraid to tell the world who is boss!

This world is partaking in a lot of things that Jesus finds disgusting, but when we take a stand on God’s principles, the world claims “You made that up” or “Can you stop interfering with my life,” but what they fail to realize is that we do not make rules. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and He breathed each and every message, word, chapter, and principle that was in the Bible, so if the world has a problem with it, then they should accept that what they are doing is wrong for God isn’t changing His Word.

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.” Romans 13:1

Romans 13 clearly says that there is no authority expect from God; therefore, God is the one charge, He is the one in control, and the world hates that! However, the world is still lost, in need of Jesus, and time is getting short, so why are we backing away? It is time that we get bold and brave and tell these people that their lifestyles are damaging their souls and affecting their eternity.

“Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19

Jesus commanded that we go and make disciples of all nations while baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. We must share the gospel to people, we must witness to them, and we must alarm that those who are lost can be found due to the love of Jesus. but they will have to be willing to let go of their lifestyles and follow Christ.

Sharing the gospel gives you two outcomes; the person either accepts Christ and realizes their wrongdoings or they deny Christ and get angry. The world normally says “How can a loving God send someone to hell,” but the real question is, “Why would someone turn down a loving God who sent His son to die for us so we wouldn’t have to face eternal punishment?”

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Though it may be difficult at times, we must never stop sharing who Christ is for people are in need of Him. This world has made lusts their god instead of Christ! The world is making themselves their own authority, which is wrong in the eyes of God. Therefore, as believers in Christ, we must not only witness to others about Christ, but we must also live by example! We must live godly, we must follow Christ, and we must deny this world.

This world is going to be mad when someone calls them out on their sin, but deep down, they know that God is the one who is in charge, so don’t be afraid of telling the world that God has different standpoints, because our bravery in confronting the world can lead many people to Christ!
